At Prado Equipment, we believe in helping people first. Our mission is to make buying, selling, and sourcing equipment simple, transparent, and personal. Built on trust, persistence, and follow-through, we treat every customer the way we'd want to be treated.

With decades of experience in the construction and industrial industries, we've seen how big corporations can lose touch with the realities of the jobsite. We started Prado Equipment to bring honesty, service, and real partnership back into the process.

Founded by Abel Gaytan and Hugo Murguia, Prado Equipment is built on hard work, transparency, and the belief that a handshake and your word still mean something.


Abel Gaytan

I'm Abel Gaytan, co-founder of Prado Equipment. I have over 20 years of experience in the construction and industrial equipment industry, and throughout my career, I've learned that what clients value most isn't just a transaction—it's trust, reliability, and a partner who truly understands their challenges.

Before starting Prado Equipment with Hugo Murguia, I held roles where I focused on sourcing, brokering, and negotiating heavy equipment deals, and equipment rentals, working closely with contractors and business owners to make their operations run more smoothly. My approach is consultative and problem-solving: I focus on helping clients save time, increase productivity, and grow their businesses.

At Prado Equipment, I bring my experience and commitment to every client relationship, making sure that doing the small things right—communicating clearly, following through, and keeping promises—remains at the heart of how we operate. I believe that when my clients succeed, I succeed.

Hugo Murguia

I'm Hugo Murguia, Co-Founder of Prado Equipment. My career in the equipment and industrial sectors has taught me that what matters most to clients isn't just finding or selling a machine — it's having someone who speaks their language, understands their goals, and delivers with clarity and reliability.

I'm bilingual and have worked extensively in sourcing and brokering equipment internationally in South America, as well as helping clients navigate financing here in the US, and growth opportunities. At Prado Equipment, I focus on building long-term partnerships — taking care of the details, and delivering what needs to get done. I believe trust is earned through action, and I'm committed to helping you move your business forward with less stress and more certainty.
